Here’s your reward for all the hard work you’ve done for the past 6 days. Today you’re gonna rest from the workouts BUT you won’t be resting from movement.
Remember that the body needs rest and if you workout too hard and too often, you might end up breaking it down. Just like in our circuits, we’ll need some active recovery.
Don’t make the mistake though of lazing around today. In fact, today must be your most ACTIVE day in terms of lifestyle activities. Walk around a lot, do your chores and errands, and even play some sports. The main thing here is to stay active.
Remember when I announced this program? You can find that post here. Check out one of the apps that I suggested: Argus. This is an activity tracker that keeps track of your steps among other things. Try to hit 10,000 steps today. And no CHEATING. I don’t want to see anyone waving their smart phones in the air like their in a concert.
Whenever you see freestyle, that means you’re free to do whatever form of cardio or cardio-strength workout that you want. You can run a mile or 2, you can play some basketball or volleyball or any racket sport, you can swim or bike, or you can even do circuit training. Just don’t overdo it because tomorrow, we’re gonna start amping it up again.
